Sargent Community Church was born from the heartfelt need of the Sargent community itself, a place yearning for biblical truth, genuine love, and a strong sense of family fellowship. Our vision is to be more than just a building; we are a family with open arms, just like Jesus, welcoming everyone. We believe in teaching the truth unapologetically, always backed by love, empowering individuals for transformation. The fields are ripe for harvest, and we are here to love without conditions, trusting God to bring people together.

Our history

Sargent Community Church is a beautiful example of what happens when people from different generations come together with a common goal, to serve and love God and to build a family that loves like Jesus. This church is an affiliate to Sargent Christian School. The school was the catalyst in this ministry. There was need for the children to have a school but as time went on the immediate need became a safe, loving church home. SCC started because a community asked for a church where biblical truth would be taught, everyone would be welcomed and loved, and that would cherish the children who God has entrusted them with. Sargent Community Church is a non-denominational church that believes even its youngest family members are important. Many of the church's activities are led by youth students ready step up and say, "Here I am. Send me."

Nestled on the coast in Sargent, Texas, Sargent Community Church follows the example of Christ; love and disciple those around you and send them out into all the world creating a holy priesthood saved only by the blood, but demonstrated through loving the lost, helping the hurt, and telling the truth.
